History
Chevy is very guarded about her past and herself. When around the Dome she doesn't have much trouble noting that her mother lives there, but it seems more as an excuse (or apology) for her proximity than any sort of attempt at conversation.
Most people just know Chevy as a weird woman who runs a mechanic shop near New Florence. She's been there for years now and didn't arrive with much fanfare. While most mechanics can fix your gear and keep it running, Chevrolet is known as one of the few real geniuses of the Wastes. When people need a tough repair or even something complicated built from scratch, they go to her.

Chevrolet seems to have a supernatural talent with machines but says it's just a matter of trying to understand them rather than forcing them to be what you expect. Other mechanics don't really buy this excuse.
Equipment
Chevy owns one of the most complete functional machine shops left in the American Wastes, and also maintains and operates a heavy armored recovery vehicle, the tank equivalent of a tow truck. Thus she remains one of the few remaining people who can tow a vehicle and get it up and running again.
Skills
If it's broke, she can fix it. If it ain't broke, she can mount a gun on it. If it has a gun on it, she can mount a BIGGER gun on it. Chevy pays top dollar for good salvage, which she repairs and resells. Her prices are high but it's hard to find the rarities she sells in working condition.

- Chevrolet was not directly named after the car manufacturer. In the ruins, her mother saw a sign with the word on it and did not know what it meant, but thought it was pretty. She is aware of the connection and tries to downplay it by having people call her "Chevy." It would seem she does not know that people used to use the same nickname for the cars.
