History
Connie, full name Constance Knight was born on New Years Day, 2042. Both her parents were the children of original residents in the dome. Her mother, Ava Thorne was the daughter of Hollywood moviestar, Christy Cole and her film director husband, Jimmy Thorne. Her father, Samuel Knight and his twin brother Sean Knight were the children of Ryan Knight, a Phoenix local goverment worker and Amelie Blanchard a nurse in the hospital close to the bunker. Due to her grandparents good fortune in acquiring places in the dome, Connie had grown up as a citizen, leading a mostly sheltered existence.
She was an only child and appeared rather withdrawn from her peers which caused her parents some concern in her early years. However as she got older both her teachers and parents recognised what had seemed to be shyness was actually an observant nature. Connie simply preferred to study and observe people rather than talking herself. She had excellent listening skills and an ability to judge peoples emotions quickly. These talents meant she was recommended for a career in psychology and her early training began.
In addition to her training Connie loved to read, she devoured books of all kinds whenever she had chance and was often scalded for trying to sneak a book into her lessons. She also practised self defense and even though she was slight in build, she soon became skilled. The horror stories of mutants that were passed around by some of her classmates had made her determined to be prepared if she was ever attacked by one.
As Connie continued with her studies, her confidence grew and now, at the age of 18 she is ready to embark on her chosen profession as a psychologist. She has been placed with Jessica Daglycer, an experienced dome psychologist who will act as her mentor as she continues to develop in her career.
